INST.ant

Turns Every Bike into a Cargo Bike

About INST.ant

Bicycles are 100 % emission-free, consume little public space, promote physical fitness, and have very low maintenance costs. 75 % of all daily routes are shorter than seven kilometers and therefore easy to reach by bike. Why do we still choose the car so often? Cars have a decisive advantage - their storage space can always be spontaneously loaded with all sorts of things such as purchases, bulky goods and large bags or suitcases. That’s why I’ve developed a trunk concept for bicycles that turns any bike into a cargo bike, anytime. In this way, the benefits of bicycles are increased and people should be encouraged to use the bike more often.
The folding technique of the trailer is based on the telescope principle. This allows a very small package size and a high degree of stability. The novelty of the product is its very compact design, enabling trailer storage on the bike. The trailer is available at any time without disturbing cycling. When needed, INST.ant is ready be used within a few seconds and allows transport of loads up to 50kg. It is light, sturdy and very easy to use. INST.ant is meant to encourage people to use two wheels more often than four.
