About ENLIGHTEN

Enlighten is a smart desk lamp that allows users to transform their workspace from a small monitor screen to unlimited real space with tangible interactions.
Our workspaces have changed. With increased access to a variety of digitized tools, we control our work and calendar app and check notes on the same screen. We repeat Alt+Tab to switch screens, check other information, and then return to our work, which interrupts workflow. We need a new desktop working experience that enables advanced ways of writing notes, managing schedules, and keeping our work organized.
The design language of our new platform for a smart desk device started with finding the best location to look down on our work space and manage all of the information within the user’s radius of action. The desk lamp position helps users to manage information in a comfortable zone and also extend workspace boundaries.
Enlighten is a smart desk lamp, consisting of two adjustable projectors, separately covering the wall and the desk, and a depth camera that traces users’ movements. By turning any surface into a smart surface, users are able to directly interact with a computer using their hands. Users can enlarge their screen and display contents around the desk. Information can be imported as data from a document by selecting the necessary parts with one’s finger. Enlighten can also show contents from your smartphone and laptop on the desk, which allows users to keep track of notes, sketches or drawings in a simple way. Enlighten enables users to improve work efficiency and enhance privacy when the device is turned off, all while keeping the desk clean and neat.
